APPEALS TO PITCAIRN ISLANDER. An interesting and curious letter from, Pitcairn Island was received lately by the Bristol Piano Co., .IVfcd., Wellington. It suggests the isolation of the inhabitants of that far-off Pacific isle, and the widespread circulation of New Zealand newspapers. The letter, which is not lacking in unconscious humour, says: "I saw your address on one.of the New Zealand , papers, and I thought you. would like to get a few lines from our lonely island, way out in tho Pacific. I hopo'my letter will be very much appreciated by you all. lam writing these line's to see if you have any £3 music which it will be very much appreciated by all on the island. If you have any, please let me know as soon as possible, and I will forward you the money. Please, if it is not too much, to send mc a catalogue of gramophones and records. I will now close with love and all good wishes from Pitcairn." Although the lady's request was rather indefinite, she will bo the recipient of something that will give her satisfaction.
