FIRES.

The Rangiora Fire Brigade were called out at 7.30 p.m. yesterday to an outbreak which commenced at the rear of the Junction Hotel in a room used as the porter's bedroom. Before being extinguished tho contents of the room were totally destroyed. Tho firb burned through the roof and into the adjoining Btoreroom. Tho outbreak is believed to have been caused by tho overturning of a lighted candle in the bedroom. Tho damage is estimated at £4O to £SO.
