Tho fortnightly meeting of tho above lodge was hold on Wednesday night, Bro. J. P. Shier, N.G., presiding over a lars*attendancc of members and visitors. The delegates to the United Friendly Societies' Dispensary Board reported attending the last meeting Of the Board, and woro tnanlF ed for their report and attendance. Bro. A. W. Saunders. P.G., handed in his resignation as delegate to the Dispensary Board. Tho resignation was accepted, and Bro. W. B. Veitch. P.P.G.M., elected to fill thi vacancy. .P.O. Bro. W. Fabian, on behalf of the presented to P.P.G.M. Bro. J. A. Ambrose, who is leaving for Auckland, a case of Loewe pipes, in recognition of his valuable services rendered to tho lodge in various during his membership. Bro. Ambrose returned thanks and was accorded the honours of tho Order. In tho absence of the N\G.-c!ect through sickness, the V.G., Bro. A. W; Kinsman, and tho E.S. were installed, P.P.G.M. Bro. Ambrose and P.G. Bro/W. Fabian acting as oonduotow, and L.M. Bro. J. Littton giving tho installation charge. One brother drew his clearance and one oandidate was nominated for membership.
