BENEFIT CONCERT.
Greater Crystal Palace waa packed., last night, when a concert, organised by Mrs Burnes-Loughnan, was given in aid of tho destitute patients, at the Christchurch Hospital. Tho majority of the items on the programme were given by. members of tho "Wildflower" company, now appearing at the Theatre Royal. Songs were sung by Miss Mario Le Varre, Miss McManus, Mr Herbert Brown, and a recitation wa3 given by Mr Walton (all of the "Wildflowcr" company), Madame Gower Burns, violin solo bv Miss M. Ashworth, recitation by ■.Miss Jovce Staff, piano solo by Miss Lund, and a "banjo eolo by Mr H. Bloy. Mr Frank White, of the "Wfldftower" company, stage managed the concert -and, tho accompaniments wn« played by Mrs.Herbert Brown and Miss Margaret Middleton. At the conclusion of the programme Miss Laura Tabart returned thanks to those who hadi given items and assistance in presenting the entertainment. ■ To-morrow Miss Marie BuTke and Mr Gus Bluett, of tho "Wildflowcr" company, will drive the donkey and cart used in tho musical comedy, through the city collecting cash for the same fund". The collection last night totalled £2B.
