The Canterbury Baseball Association held a game on tho Hagley Park cricket ground on Saturday, when Christchurch Weat defeated Christchurch south by six Tuns to live, after an interesting and even game. The following were the teams: — Christchurch W««at-»o'Cain (catcher), Johns (pitcher), McLean (first base), Wilkinson, Cole, Malkin, Mitten, Temple, Brown, Forsyth, Grose. \ Christchurch South—Evans (catcher), GaTbutt (pitcher), Brunton (-first base), Kaync3, Hayes, Gosney, Martin, Dalton, Hurst, Hoakins, Jobbins, Lcwcrs. The following wero the scores in each innings: Christchurch.West—o, I, 0, 0, 2, 0, 2, 0, 1; total 6. Christchurch South—o, 0, 0, 0, 1, 2, 0, 2, 0; total 5. * ■ .
