COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS' CONCERT.
A very fine concert was given in the Caledonian Hall last night by the musical members of the Commercial Travellers' and Warehousemen's Association. Mr 3v W. Connor sang "Corisande," Mr B. Crowhurst "I Did Not Know," Mr H. Taylor "Sea Fever," Mr J. H. Coi "Life," Mr W. J. Trewern "Prelude," Mr A. L. Gropp "Port ot Many Ships," and Miss N£3lio Lowe "My Dear Soul" and "Farewell to Summer." Many encores vrero {riven. Mr A. Dey gave a comedy recitation, "Monty on the General Trend." Mr R. A. Turner presented several, comedy sketches, full of good matter and marked by a high degree of technical skill in the character representations. He appears to have studied hard and to have followed good models. The jjartBongs were the chief enjoyment of the programme. These included "Who Sails with Drake," "Breathe, My Heart," "Simple Simon," "The Beleaguered" (Sullivan), "In a Gondola," and "The' Three Chafers." Man? extrv part-scngs were also given, so hearty wa3 tho applause. Mr A. Woraley was the conductor.
