TRAM TIME-TABLES.
TO THE ZDITO* OT "THB PMS3." Si r _l w i s h to thank your correspondent who haire written on the above subject. I hare been put-to a good deal of inconvenience on account ot trains leaving the Square before those in a car just behind can leave the one and board the other. Also as regards the trams to and from New Brighton. I arrived in the Square from Brighton bv a car timed, to arrive at 3.31 and. wished to catch the 3.35 to 6t Martins, only to meet it leaving the Square as the No. 5 rounded the corner at the back of the Bank; and as the next car did not l© aTe fof 43- minutes I had time to think that things might be improved. On another occasion l arrived from Fendalton at 2.10 and was able to-catch the 2.10 to Brighton,, but. the next week, wishing to do the same, thing, I arrived at the Shelter in time to see the No. 5 on its way cut of the Square—a wait of half an hour. Ihe same thing happens in the mornings in regard to the departure of the >!o. 5 ear at 9.35, lO.'o and 10.35, and so on at exactly the same time as cars arrive from the Hills.
I could give other instances, but these should be sufficient to show that the public have a good cause for complaint. The trouble is worse in connexion with cars which leave at intervals of half an hour and over. The time of the travelling public is valuable, and I trust that something will he done in the matter. —Yours, etc.. OFTEN WAITING.
