SUMNER BOROUGH COUNCIL ELECTION.
TO TH* KHTOE OF "THB PMSS." Sir, —In reference to the "ticket" advertised to support the Mayoral policy, as an elector of this district i take strong exception to being told for whom I must vote. I reserve tc myself the right to make my own choice, and I_ would sooner give my vote to a Councillor who has the courage to stand alone than to one who seeks to get in upon a Vticket." The interests of the people and the borough as a whole, and the expenditure of the.revenue to.the best and most economical advantage in the interests of the people of the borough collectively, is thepolicy to pursue, but.we are not likely to get that policy from a ticket pled'ged to follow the Mayor blindfold.—Yours, etc., REDCJLIFFS ELECTOR.
