FIGHTING IN IRAQ.
+ TWO AIRMEN KILLED. (BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPTBKJHT.) (Stdsey "Sen" Service.) LONDON, April 20. The Colonial Office announces that a British airplane was shot down by rifle-fire at Iraq during an action against a YeEidi chief who thrice refused to attend a Government conference to discuss rival claims for supremacy. After prolonged fighting with another local chieftain, the bodies of the pilot and mechanic were recovered.
