—♦t- : ' MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly moeting of the Canterbury Land Board was held on Wednesday,, April 15th, 1925. Present: Messrs G. H. Buliard (chairman), R. Macauley, D. Stowell, K. F. Henderson, and T. G. Gee. The following land transfers were approved:— Section 119, Blook XII., .Pareora, "Rosewill," 181 acres, 2 roods 0 perches—Ronald William McMiUan to Thomas Divan. Sections 18 and 22, Block VIII., Waimate", "Mills," 50 acres, 1 rood 16 perches— William Haynes to Leslie James Orr (soldier). ' Lot 1, Section 119, Block IV., Rangiora, 37 acres—Marcus Lewis Sullivan to John Wilßori. '
Section 30, Block XV., Tengawai, "Albuiy," 326 acres 2 roods—Walter Ford to ' Charles Orlando Bvidgeman Section 13, Block XII., Opihi, "Rakitairi Settlement'.'" 216 acres—Ernest George Rumsev to Robert Evans Smith. Section 9, Block XIII., Waitaki, WaikakaW Settlement," 50 acres—John Rule Sewell, Mortgagee of W. S. H. Paulin, to .Edward Patrick Lavery. Section 1, Block X., ptaio S.D., Pareora No. 2 Settlement, 349 acres 2 roods 14 perches—Travis Alfred Barrett to Mark Caswell. . • An application for Pt. Crown~ land fronting Taylor's 'stream, in Block V., Spaxton "5.D., fronting "KvS. 28553,- 4 acres, year to .year, C. ,A. Pope, was approved at £l' per annum. , Applications were received for Section 13, Brookdalo Settlement, 54 acres 1 rood 15 perches. • After examining the applicants present, the Board decided to allot the ecction t<> Mr Charles George Wattie.
