APPEAL BOARD'S SITTINGS. To complete a lengthy list of cases remaining in the Christchurch list, the Public Sen-ice Appeal Board will "it to-day at the Provincial Chambers, and will be kept occupied probably a week. The chairman of the Board (Mr Peter Barrl arrived from Wellington yesterday. Other members of the Board are as fellows: .Messrs F. W. Flanagan (Christchurch), H. C. Hulme (Wellington), and C. de R. Andrews (Invercargill). The secretary, Mr T. J. Sherrard, of Wellington, arrived yesterday. After completing its work in Christchurch the Board will proceed to the West Coast io hold sittings at Hokitika- and Greymouth. The Public Service Commissioner (Mr P. S. Vcrschaffelt), in company with his secretary- (Mr A. C. Turnbull), and the Public Servico Inspector (Mr B. C. Dallard) arcalso fjepected to arrive from Wellington today.
