LOBURN SCHOOL.
TO THE EDITOR 07- "THE PRESS." Sir,— May I venture to ask space to; ventilate a grievance? I came to; Loburn for health reasons, expecting to be able •to • send'my children to school, but I found to my disappointment that; I was completely put of' reach of .the; local school except by the means of a conveyance, as • it ! was about Bis miles away .by the.present road, : and yet straight across country it would be only, about' twenty . minutes' i walk to ■ the school. Surely ,this. is a bad arrangement of the loadings of a district like' Loburn/ They are complaining of having. to*' close - school for * the law attendance, and yet there are "a number, of children, who could attend if the roading was more convenient. The township of Loburn appears to be dead for the want of a progressive Eoad Board. Doubtless there are roads in plenty provided, but they are being.used as farm lands and inaccessible to the public.— Tours, etc.. ALICE A. WILKIN. Loburn, November 20th.
