THE FERRY SERVICE.
to THE EDITOR OF "THE PRESS." Sir—Might I suggest to the" Chamber of- Commerce or Progress League that they endeavour to persuade the Union Company to permanently remove the Mararoa from the ferry service? This vessel is a reproach to a progressive country and to the company that run her. • This suggestion may induce others, with some influence, to take this matter up.—Yours, etc., MAIL CLERK.
