MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING.
DOYLESTON CLUB. In order to present th» trophies won during season, the Doylesfcon Miniature Rifle Club-held a "smoke concert /at. which there "were also present representatives from the Southbridge and LakesideSedgemere Clubs. Before making the presentations, the president, Mr J. S. Brake, welcomed the, visr.ors, and the hope was expressed that next season other neighbouring districts would form clubs, and that an Association would be set up. Mr J?. A. Wagner offered a shield for competition next season, and the president offered a medai for second place. The list of awards is as follows. Where not otherwise stated, the trophies were provided by the club: —Opening ehcot, J.- R. Gadsell. • .First four-nightly ' competition: G. Bray (Mr H. Gardiner's trophy) I, J. R. Third. four-nightly competition: G. Redmond (Hammond and Turner's trophy)- 1, H. Heslop H.. Stephen's trophy)' 2,' B. Maw 3, J. M. .Quigley 4. Fourth four-nightly competition: G. itobb (D.l.C.'s trophy) 1, A. McKinnon (A. Wirner and Co.'s trophy) 2, R. Savage 3, J. Maw 4. Single nigh', open championship: F. Gwatkins (Mr I'. G. Framptona medai) Single night junior championship; J. C. Quigley (Mr G: W. R.' Osborne's medal). Highest aggregate: - J. R. Gadsell (president's medal).
