MELBOURNE, November 10
Messrs J. R. Corteen, G. Tyc, G. T. Godby, and H. Cairns have issued a Supreme Court writ against the Victoria Racing Club and its members in their personal character .and against the Stipendiary Stewards at tho Caulfield Meeting on October loth, and against tlie Victoria Amateur Turf. Club, its committee and members, seeking da-mages for tho disqualification of themselves and the horse Purser, also for the rejection of the entries of the horses Heroic and Irish jßhytlnu. The writ sets out that such disquuli-* fixations and rejection of entries were illegal, invalid, improper, ultra vires, contrary to tho principles of natural justice, not and have no effect.
An injunction is sought restrciinng the defendants from enforcing the disqualifications.
