RIDGELY LODGE.
The fortnightly meeting of Ridgely Lodge No. 3G, 1.0.0. F., waa held on Wednesday, N.G. Bro. A. Wilson presiding. The esici visitors made their reports, and sick pay was passed for payment. Correspondence was road and received from the Wellington District Lodge, stating it was presenting P.D.D.G.M. Bro. J. Nine 1 ., of Eidgoly I/odgo with a veteran's jewel, and asiing the Lodge if it would care to co-operate in tho presentation. On the motion of P.G. ' Bro. L. P. White, it was resolved to go half shares in the cost of the jewel. The N.C.' District, the Degree Lodg?, notified that, the first degree would be conferred on Nov-' | ember sth. Bro. W. McConnell said that '■ the fair had not been so successful as it might have been, about £4O being taken. It: 1 was decided to hold an open night next Lodge night. Three new members were initiated. P.G. Bro. C. Buckett outlined the programme for the concert he was running 1 in aid of the children's Christmas tree. After a good deal of discussion on the allocation of the funds from the fair, Bro. Vol.er moved that the funds be used! for the Christ- • ma 3 tree, and uny surplus go to « general improvement fund. The motion was carried.
