The Prefect of Bologna issued an edict forbidding organised movements of Communists and of Fascieti from one .province to another. This led to an extraordinary ferment in Bologna. Fas- ;, cisti, answering the general mobilisation I order, are now flo»king to the city, and some thirty thousand are bivouacked in the streets, armed with cudgels. Their aim is to expel the Prefect beyond ■ Romagna. Troops have been dispateh- ■ ed to the srcne. The d ; sarming of the i Fascisti has been ordered, but they refuse to give up their arms. They sacked a few of the Socialists and Communists' meeting-places. Signor Nitti's followers are violently attacking the Ministry, and a political crisis is likely to ensue.
