APPRECIATION FROM ABROAD.
ADVERTISING NEW ZEALAND. Messrs W. Strange and Co., who had a very handsome announcement in colour on the back page of last year's Christmas Number of the "Weekly Press" sent copies to their fneu. abroad. A director of a very large exporting house writes as follows; —"Many thanks for sending me a copy of the Christmas .Number of the Ciiristchurch 'Weekly Press.' From time to time it has been my good fortune to see copies of the New Zealand illustrated papers, and I have always been greatly impressed by them, and by the wonderful scenery of that Dominion."
The managing director of another exporting house, who is leaving England for Egypt and Ceylon, writes as follows: "I have somewhat altered my original plan, and fully expect to visit New Zealand. I would never have liked to miss it: but from a perusal of the contents erf the Christmas Number of the 'Weekly Press,' I am determined that, if I can manage it at all, I shall visit that beautiful country." Th© director of a Yorkshire house writes: —"It ia not often we have the chance of seeing what is going on in your country, and we must congratulate the publishers for the way in which this magazine has been got out."
