AMUSEMENTS.
OPERA HOUSE. Fuller's Opera. House is this week providing a programme which nightly attracts full houses. Haagen Holenbergh. the Danish pianist, ■ and Sumas, the novelty musician, were both warmly received, as also was Miss Gladys Verona, operatic soprano. Good turns were also given by Wendy and Alphonse, Eddy Martyn, and Huley and Bent. The "Mam'selle Mimi Diggers" supplied a mirthful and musical hour in the second half of the entertainment. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. "The Prince Chap," starring Thomas Meighan, and ''The Frisky Mrs Johnson" (Billie Burke) head an attractive programme showing this week at Everybody's Theatre.
GRAND THEATRE. "The Daughter Pays," featuring Elaine Hammerstein, and "The Purple Cypher" (Earle Williams), an episode of "The Moonriders," and several supporting 'Urns, comprise a fine picture programme showing this week at the Grand Theatre. •* STRAND THEATRE, "The Challenge of the Law," a story of the Canadian North-West, and a social drama, "The Little Grey Mouse," are the chief attractions in a good programme being screened this week at the Strand Theatre.
LIBERTY THEATRE. Miss Carrie Lanoeley, soprano, supported by Miss Irene Watts, pianaste and monologuUt, Miss Ceciie Stevens, vioiiniste, and Miss Doris Middleton, 'celliste, afforded a very enjoyable musical programme at the Liberty Theatre last night. The picture entertainment, which is also well up to the Liberty standard, was 'headed by "The Forbidden Woman," a fine drama, featuring Clara Kimball Young. GREATER CRYSTAL PALACE. Three big film comedies are shown this week ait the Great Crystal Palace. They comprise a Universal comedy, "Risky Business" (Gladys Walton), "Once a Plumber" (Lyons and Moran), and "The Baby Doll Bandit (featuring the clever monkey, Joe Martin). Mr A. J. Bunz's orchestra supplies music at the evening entertainments o,uite up to the high standard previously set. RIDGWAY'S CIRCUS. Ridgway's Circus, showing to-night at Richmond, will give the first appearance in New Zealand of "Rexo," an illusionist who gives a clever trunk escaping act. Kirgent, an aerial artist, is also advertised to be seen in a sensational "death slide."
