OVER £2OOO WORTH STOLEN. (raESS ASSOCIATION TK^KOIUM.) ' WELLINGTON, ;April 12. H. Baxon, of Sydney, a dealer in precious • stones, who has been travelling the Dominion with jewellery, had £i2060 worth of diamonds, opals, and pearls stolen from his bedroom in a local hotel to-day. The thieves gained.admission to the room and cut a hole in a bag and stole the jewels. In their hurry, they overlooked other bags containing jeweb. The police have a small clue at prosent. They believe that Baron had been shadowed. :
