NEW SOUTH WALES BUDGET.
* TAXATION TO BE INCREASED. (By Cable—Press Association—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Gablo Association.) (Received November 9th, 10.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, November 9. In the Assembly, Mr Lane; delivered his Budget speech. He stated that the year opened with a deficit of £1,804,000. The revenue for the present year, it was estimated, would amount to £34,011,000, ana the expenditure to £33,982,000. New taxation, which was estimated to yield £2,388,000, would bo imposed, which would reduce the total to £1,775,000.
