(Pt&LSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAMS.) AUCKLAND, January 7. Thomas Corcoran, a singlo man, aged 42 years, cut his throat at Ononunga this afternoon and died soon afterwards. He returned from the front nbout two years ago and had suffered from shell shock and pneumonia. NELSON, January 7. A middle aged man named A. D. Bird, of tho Wangamoa accommodation house, after engaging in a tug of war at Wckapnkatoa to-day, collapsed and died. Ho had been under medical treatment.
