WAREHOUSEMEN'S ASSOCIATION.
ANNUAL MEETING
Tho fifth annual general meeting of the Canterbury Commercial Travellers' and "Warehousemen's Association was held last evening, Mr H. H. Wauchop presiding. The annual Teport stated that the number of financial members was 288, as against 271 in 1917. There were also 47 club members and nine countryclub members. The net assets of tho Association, after allowing £2G 17s for depreciation, and transferring the sum of £224 5s to the mortuary fund, aggregated £759 103 6d. The business of the club throughout the year had been satisfactory, especially the net return from the sale of goods, £125 19s 2d. Billiard receipts showed a decrease of £83, which was accounted for by the number of members away on active service. The club's roll of honour was as follows: Association—<s. Best, O. L. Ballin, W. )The report and balance-sheet were adopted. Tnd rules were altered to provide for tho hon. treasurer transferring to the Mortuary Benefit Fund the sum of 10s 6d, and to the Relief Fund 5s 3d from the annual subscription paid by ever? Association member.
