* LINWOOD CLUB.On Saturday, the Linwood Bowling and Croquet Club, in response to an appeal from tho Navy League l'und, held a benefit in aid of the widows and children of our naval heroes. The various bowling clubs were invited to send a link, but only tho Canterbury Club responded. The chief feature of the afternoon v.*as the final match for tho Champion Rink, between rinks skipped by fiealey and Kcrsha'.v. Thero was also a match played, Linwood v. Canterbury, several president's rink games, and several friendly club matches. The grounds wero decorated with red, - white, and blue bunting.
