/ f MINIATURE RIFLE ASSOCIATION. The Christclmrch Miniature Rifle Association held a practice on their open-air rang© on Saturday. Conditions were seven. 6hots (yapid firing) at 50, 75, imd 100 yards, time limit 1$ minutes, end some excellent shooting was done. Results: —

The Chriatchurch Rifle Club's programme was continned at Cpsbmero on Saturday afternoon, under trying conditions, as a nor'wester, with liazo and heat, prevailed. A. M. Dutliie headed the list again, this being his third win for the season. Ho shot brilliantly at 600 yards. Results:—
SUMNEB-REDCLIFFS CLUB. A general meeting' of the Sumner-Redcliffs Miniature Kifle Club was Iwld on Saturday evening, when Mr F. K. Piercy presided. Prizes won during the post season were presented to the folio wing:—Handicap Tournament:—First, T. Hunter, gold medal; second, J. Williamson, razor. Cup Handioap: First, G. Howling-, cup and gold medal";' B&cond, F. R. Piercy, gold medal. Owing l to leaving the district Mr H. Buttle tendered his resignation as secretary, and Mr J. Williamson ■was appointed' in bis place. It was decided to farewell Messrs Buttle and Lawson, who <vro leaving tho district, at a social evening on Wednesday.
