CANTERBURY CRICKET ASSOCIATION. t Tho sixth round of grade matches was brought to a conclusion on Saturday in fine weather. Each of tho three championship games produced close finishes, and Sydenham was beaten for the first time this season by Riccarton. ' SYDENHAM v. RICCARTON. Sydenham, with a first innings total of 233, appeared to have this game well in hand, for they had eight of the Riccarton men out for 150. Technical made 153 for five wickets (fates not out 54, Hearfield 36, Palmer 28), and won by five wickets. Teohnicnl College B. defeated St. Albans A. by four wickets. Scores: —Technical, 66 and 132 for six wickct3 (Armitage not out 37, Scott not out 37, Hill 24). St. Albans, 113 and 72. Riccarton A. defeated Sydenham B. by seven wickets'. Sydenham scored 37 and 201 (Gabb 47, King 43, Hill 33, James 30), and Riccarton, 177 and 73 for three wickets (Wilson ont out 26, Unwin 23, Holland not out 13). St. Albans B. had made 201 against West Christchurch on the first day, and West on Saturday replied with 163 (McLaren 48, Wanklyn 39). St. Albans won by 38 runs on the first innings. CITY AND SUBURBAN ASSOCIATION. The sixth. round of matches was concluded on Saturday last. The wickets were fast, owing to the nor'-westers experienced /last week.
