Andrews, E. J. Hatherley, and F. Otley were the' a&ses-: isors'for the' employees,' and Messrs H. Harris; D.' Sutherland, and C. Eenn for "the employees.' . , Mr H. The Commissioner suggested "an allowance of 3s 4d per day 'or per week extra for men. on country work. , The employers' assessors offered a flat rate of journeymen's wages of la. 7Jd .per ; hour, with a boni'u of 2d per .hour, as from . April !st next, country workers to receive 3s- 4d. per hour, with apprentices', wages 'as ..asked' for by the Union. /; ."
