M.C.C. TEAM'S TOUR. <FRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, January 20. In. connexion with, the visit of the M.C.C. team, to Australia, the "Wellington Cricket Association decided this evening to ask the New Zealand Cricket Council to endeavour to arrange for the team to extend its visit to New Zealand. GLENTUNNEL v. GREEKDALE. The first cricket match played in Greendale for over two years took place in the Domain on" Saturday afternoon, when a team from Glentunnel visited Greendale, and a very enjoyable game resulted in a win for the home team by 25 runs. Scores:—Glentunnel 78 (T. Price 28, "Wills 13, "W. Aitkeo 12); Greendale, 103 (J. Stevenson 23, W. J. Dean 23, W. A. "Wilson 16, B. T. Hockridg» 11). F. Smith, 4 for 25, and J. Reynolds, 4 for 30. bowled well for the visitors, and P. Cullen. 2 for 8; E. H. Frew, 4 for 20; and T. H. Locker, 3 for 39, for Greendale.
