SIMLA, July 4. The recruiting figures indicate that recruits in India during the fourth year of the war number nearly threefold those in tho third yoar. Every province has shared in this development. The Punjaub keeps pride of place, but other provinces have made a splendid response. Burma lias given invaluable assistance. The native States' contributions grow every year. By continually tapping new sources of men the recruiting organisations have become so powerful that they are confidently believed to bo capable of meeting all demands. |
