BLEEDING BELGIUM,
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) # AMSTERDAM, July 4. Germany is raising Belgium's war contribution to 60,000,000 francs monthly. This is equivalent to 750 francs per head.
The journal "Handelsblad" announces that Holland will probably agree to send 3000 waggons of new potatoes to Germany in exchange for 50.000 tons of coal, and adds it is understood that Britain has_ agreed to the transaction u she receives the same quantity of Dutch potatoes.

In the Reichstag Herr Scheidemann intimated that the Socialists would refuse to vote for the Budget.
