ROYAL NAVY COMFORTS FUND.
The Women's Auxiliary Committee of tht* Canterbury (N'.Z.) Branch of the Navy League desire to forward Christmas parcels and comforts to the men of the Royal Navy and auxiliary services, and would be pleased to receive donations in cash, or gifts in kind such as mittens, mufflers, socks, balaclavas, jerseys, or other woollen garments in blue or black, before the end of this month. The committee would also be pleased to obtain at once the names and address of every Canterbury man now serving. Information has come to hand that no less than 50 of our New Zealand motor patrol men took part in the Zeebrugge and Ostend raids. Con we do too much for these heroes? A member of the committee will be at the office of the Navy League, 119 Worcester street, every week day between 2.30 and 3,30 p.m., to receive contributions, etc. The honorary secretary and treasurer js Miss Lysbeth Harris. 1
