The petitioning creditors in the estate of Sir J. McCombs, M.P., applied, it w?H bo remembered, some days ago for fin order for substituted seryice, as the whereabouts of the member for Lytteltpn could not bp exactly ascertained. The matter came before Mr Justice Hprdman, who adjourned the application for ten days, to see if personal service ccuLd not be effected. So far, the actual location of Mr McConibs hjis not been discovered, but tho ten days proscribed by Mr Justice Herdjnan expires io-day, and it is probable "thnt a renewal of the application for substituted service will come before his Honour in Chambers either to-day or to-morrow.
