The Kllesuiere County Council wrote agreeing to t#Ke control, on March .list, of that portion of the drainage district contained in tlie Kllesuiero County which was vested in the Council under section SS oi' last year's Washing Up Act. Mr G W Kay wrote asking permission to build on the Canal bank, on certain condition®. The- rili odes Park Domain Board wiote. a.-lci'.-c? permission to plant trees on portion oi the river bank. Agreed to, on certain conditions. J. W. Lill mroto regarding the classification of his proper;-/. It" was agreed to inspect same before next rutins period. It was decided to plough and deepen portion of the Lake Flat drain. The clerk was instructed to call tenders l'or cleaning the Tramway road and_ LeadIcc road drains, Dawson's and Knight's creek, Green's and Glover's drain, Main <liair,, and J. G. Murray's drain.
