The cai'itaria system of food distribution is being universally adopted in all military camps throughout Australia. The system was first introduced iu South Australia, where it worked jo well that it met with the unanimous approval of the Royal Commission which has been enquiring into the conduct and administration of ihe Defence Department (states the Melbourne "Age"). Consequently the members recommended that where, practicable other States should u?e this method of distributing rations to the men in camp.
