BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL v. CHKISX'S COLLEGE. The competition match between those 6chools was commcncod on Saturday, October '23th, and was to have l>een linished the following- Saturday (Cup Day). Itiiin, honwcr, caused a postponement of play on that day, and the match ww concluded on Wednesday, College winning by eight wickets. School did much better in their second innings than in their firat strike. Wright batted splendidly and had hard luck in rnwuing his century. Austin, Reese, and Woods all shaped well, but the others failed badly. College experienced Jittle difficulty in knocking up the rune required ior a threepoint -victory, A. F.
