ADDINGTON ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY.
The Addington Orchestral Society, twentytwo strong, gave their first public performance in the Selwyn street Hall, on Saturday evening. The programme consisted oi selections from Verde, Rubenstein, EJgar, and other composer*. Scugs were contributed by Mrs Feahenfeld, and Messrs Mitchel' and Stokes. Mr Stokes also played a violin bolo, which was well received. Mr J. Poolcy abiy conducted. Altogether, a very enjoyable evening -was spent.
