ST. PAUL'S YOUNG PEOPLE'S SOCIETY.
At the weekly meeting of St. Paul's Presbyterian Young People's Society, Mr E. D. Johnston presided. The programme consisted of prepared speeches, recitations, and reading, at sight. Messrs N. H. Procter, K. McKay," and J. Stout contributed speeches; Mies L. Dearsley and Mr Cropp recitations; and Misses Dearsley and A. Burn, and Mr J. Stout, readings at sight. Messrs D. C. Burns and W. Roxburgh acted as judg»a,. and, while mainly encouraging, their criticisms were much appreciated and very helpful with regard to style, expression, and gesture.
