At the monthly meeting of the Eyre ' County Couiiuil theio were pio^ent:— | jlessrs R. Evane It. A. ! lhxon, F. G. HorreiJ, H. J. norrell, Wright and C. M. Williams. 'lho • Hospital and Charitablo Aid Board intimated that the county's contribution for the year 1914-15 would be £6&5. The Health Officer wrote rcgaiding the removal of buildings by Messrs Clark and Orchard, and ro.ommending that no further permits l>e granted without careful considei ition. l\lr. J. • W. Strachau applied tor traction en- i gine license for two ongines, one for haulage and one for threohing only; also for leave to haul during June. Keforred to the surveyor to give- a permit for June, weather permitting, the weight drawn to be strictly within the ! regulations equally divided on three ! waggons. The Surveyor was directed to send uot;ce to owners of land on the tram road who plougaeo the sides of the road to have the sides levelled down; to bind the shingle on Milloek street, and report on making a foot- ; path on the west side of tne .North road, and to cet assistance for repairing of road: also to writ© to the Water Supply Board to improve the fords on Hide's road and North Jiyre road near the Domain.
