OPERA HOUSE.
Phillips and Merritt. the American entertainers and tangoists; Denros Carney comedian, presenting 'The Wigmakers"; Dorothy Harris, the popular American comedienne: Carlton Max, ventriloquist, and other members of the vaudeville company, played to a full house at the Opera House last night, and were enthusiastically received. Tonight the programme will be repeated, and to-morrow a special Children's Matinee will bo given. The Tango Competitions will iako place in tho Opera House on Tuesday and Thursday next, June 2nd and Itli, when 2-1 couples of expert Tangoists, who have been coached by Phillips and Merritt, will take part. The box plans are now open at Milnor and Thompson's Music Warehouse.
On Monday the new programme will be headed by Josephine Gassman and her Piccaninnies —a. great American attraction.
