MILFORD.
At the monthly meeting of tho Milford School Committee, it was agreed to "ive tho use of tho school for the proposed new Miniature Rifle Ciub. Tho average attendance was shown to be 37.5, out of a roll number of 46. The committee criticised the system of medical inspection of school children and undue haste shown by tho medical inspector. Failing a more satisfactory inspection, the committee decided to employ a private medical man to do tho work. Assistance kindly offered by Messrs Mahon, Thompson, and Collins in eartiucc shingle and trimming fences was gratefully acceptod.
