Anderson's motor has been installed, and is driving a seven kilowatt general electron generator, for the purpose of drying-ofi the transmitters, so as to get them into their room, in order that they may be completed and loaded; also the generator which is to drive th& large crane. The fitters will now be able.to get on more quickly with their fitting up of the turbines and generators; in fact, the first turbine is completely put together for work. The contractors for the buildins have nearly finished, only two plasterers, three joiners and four labourers and a painter being left on the job, and they expeer, vo be done in a fortnight c time. The centre shaft is now concreted up to tho level of the ground, and the concrete gang have been paid off. The Post Office was. on Monday night, dismantled at Wbakamatau, and all the gear brought down to Kisselton Post Office, where all business will bo conducted in future.

The contractor for the tunnel (Mr McWilliam) has arrived here, with a staff of men to stars pulling down tho huts and machinery, and clearing all things up.
