GERALDINE.
A meeting of members of the Mount Peel and Geraldine Road Boards was held on Wednesday to enscuss the proposed amalgamation of the two dis tricts into a county. Mr F. R. Flatman presided, and Mr G. W. Armitago, chairman of tho Tomuka- Road Board, was present by invitation. Mr F. J . Rolleston road the draft of a-Bill ne bad prepared, and exnlained the various clauses. After discussion Mr Koileston was instructed to proceed with the Bill.
