Tho annual meeting of the Geraldine Brass Baud was leld on Tuesday, Mr W. Thomas presiding. The balancesheet showed a credit of £18 0s Bd. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patrons, Messrs W. Nosworthy, M.P., J. Kennedy, and J. P. Cliff, president, Mr W. Thomas; vice-presi-dents, Dean Bowers, Dt. Patersou, Messrs E. A. O'Malloy. F. R. Flatman, E. White, R. A. Dixon, H. M. Spencer, H. Bannehr, and R. Morrison; band master and acting conductor, Mr J. Ber.nington; band sergeant, Mr W Carver; secretary and treasurer, Mr A Bonnington; librarian, Mr J. Johnstone; drum major, Mr H. Herlihy; general committee. Messrs Johnstone, L. P-right, W. Carver, L. Benninsrton,, A. Turner, H. Bryant, and W. Fleming. The librarian was voted £2 an the secretary £5. Tho question of raising funds fof the erection of a I^"- , room on the site of the present Fire Brigade station was discussod, ami t was decided to hold a garden fete in the second week of October.
