HINDS.
There was a large attendance at Hinds Hall on Friday evening, when the Hinds Senior Cadets gave their first ball. No pains had been spared to make the function a success, and tho result waS-very plea-sing. The flood was in perfect condition, and the music was snpplied by Hoskins's Band. Tho duties of M.C. were carried out successfully by Mr E. Leathern. An excellent supper was served by the Cadets, who were indefatigable in attending to the wants of all- Mr F. J. Hampton acted as secretary.
