CHANGES IN RELATIONS DESIRED. THE OBJECT IN VIEW. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received January 30th, 9.50 p.m.) LONDON, January 30. Tho Archbishop of Canterbury has appointed a committee, in compliance with a resolution passed at the Church Council in July, 1913, to enquire into what changes are advisable in the relations of Church and State in order to secure a fuller expression of tho spiritual independence of the Church, and tho national recognition of religion. The committee includes Lord Selbornc. who will act as chairman, Lord Balfour of Burleigh, tho Duke of Devonshire, Lord Hugh Cecil, and the Bishops of Oxford, Bristol, and Liverpool.
