In the paragraph reporting tho Loyal Rangiora Lodge meeting, published yesterday, the membership was 6tated as 31, -whereas it should have been 391. The High. School Governors met on Tuesday evening, Messrs R. Ball (chairman), "H. Boyd, C. W. Bell, E. R. Good, C. 1. Jennings, and J. Sansom being present. A motion was passed heartily congratulating Mr T. R.: Cresswe.U, principal of the school,, and his staff, on the success of so many of their pupils in the recent examinations. The treasurer reported a bank credit balance of £146 9s lid. It was decided to pay £50 off the building loan. Accounts for £15 7s 9d were passed for payment. The chairman and Mr Oresewell were asked to write to tlia Inspector-General of Schools with reference to railway passes for pupils on the Oxford line. Mr "E. C d'Axivergne's offer to occasionally insnect and report on the school reserve at StiidT'oiino was accepted. Th<» Woolston Brass Rind will play tho following programme of music on the band rotumia at Ranrriora on Sunday npxt:—March. A collection will he> taken up to enable the band to 6end their soloist to the Auckland contest.
