OXFORD.
The funeral of the late Mr M. Doody yesterday was very largely attended, the number of mourners testifying to the esteem and respect in which he was held in the Oxford district, in which ho had lived for tho last thirty-seven years. Mr Doody had witnessed many in that time. He leaves a widow, six sons, and two ctaughtera. Tho pall-bearers were four of the sons, a son-in-law (Mr T. J. McGrath), and a nephew (Mr T. Cloughlin). The Very Rev. Dean Hyland officiated at tho graveside.
