LABOUR CONGRESS.
* . MR HOLMAN'S ADVICE. {6y Cable.—Prose Aeeociation.—Copyright.) (Received January 26th, 10.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, January 26. The Political Labour League opened its .annual Conference to-day. Mt Holman, in tho course of a speech, advised delegates not to waste time in mere empty talking and resolu-tion-carrying. The day for that had gone by, and they should endeavour, with the guidance of sound thought, to assist in the solution of the problems that perplexed those holding tho reins of government. Mr J. C Watson, in moving that only the Labour Press be admitted, said the daily papers were always against them, and they should take the opportunity of teaching them that fair play was bonnie play. Mr Richard Meagher supported the resolution on similar grounds. The motion was carried.
