(Received December Bth, 11.20 p.m.) LONDON, December 8. Mr D. A. Thomas, the well-known coal-mine owner, in a speech at Cardiff, said the time would come when the big railway companies would recognise trade unions, and all railwaymen should join unions to enable them to bo recognised, similarly to unions in the coal industry.
