CAOTERBUKT GLUB. JTb« Canterbury Flying Club flew a r*oe from Upper Hutt on Thursday, a distance of 220 miles airline. The birds were liberated by the etatkmmaater at a.m. in fair •weather. The winning bird (the property of Mr W. Searie) traversed the distance in Shis 53niin lleec, making an wrerage Telocity of 1193 yds per mirrate.
